This class is specifically tailored for those with a technical background and prior experience using PTC Creo Simulate and Analyzing Static Structural FEA. Therefore, an engineering degree is not a prerequisite, however, it is strongly recommended. As always, an open mind, a creative spirit, and a strong Quantitative Comprehension of Mechanics of Materials are necessary!

The instructor did well relating the content to our products and how we design our products. We not only further expanded our understanding of Creo/Simulate, but FEA in general. - Nick B.
Fastway Creo Simulate Nonlinear FEA Contact

Frictional contact is nonlinear and mathematically unstable. Understanding Contact Stiffness, and how it is calculated, is critical to getting a stable, accurate solution.
